
Laura is a fierce advocate for her clients, and she understands the emotional and financial difficulties that often accompany a separation. Using creative-thinking and her strong negotiation skills, she strives to obtain realistic, long-term solutions for her clients.
Laura obtained her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2018 and has practiced exclusively in family law ever since. Prior to delving into law, she earned her undergraduate degree with Honours from Memorial University of Newfoundland & Labrador in Political Science and spent time as a public policy advisor and researcher.

When a matter does not lend itself to an out-of-court resolution, Laura is also a successful litigator at all steps of the family court process. Laura is committed to helping her clients to make informed decisions, with full understanding of how the law applies to their unique circumstances.
During her undergraduate studies, Laura was a resident assistant and writing tutor for students living in on-campus housing, which provided her with extensive training in community-building, diversity and inclusion, and mental health first aid. Throughout her law studies, Laura participated in a variety of research projects with respect to issues facing LGBTQ2A+ families, surrogacy and fertility law in Canada, child support for adult children, and the impact of Ontario’s All Families Are Equal Act (2016). Laura enjoys working with clients with a wide variety of family backgrounds and experiences.
