Lisa Katz is both a skilled negotiator and strong advocate.
Lisa Katz was called to the Ontario Bar in 2007, after articling at a full service mid-sized law firm in downtown Toronto. She obtained her LL.B. from Queen’s University, Faculty of Law in 2006.
Lisa practices all aspects of family law. She regularly appears in all levels of court, including the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
Lisa also has extensive experience negotiating and drafting agreements and representing clients through alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation.
She recognizes the importance of making sure that her clients understand the legal process and have a voice in the outcome.
Prior to joining Baker & Baker P.C., Lisa practiced at a prominent family law firm in the Region of Peel. She has also been legal counsel for the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto.
